[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시가 올해 신재생에너지 공급인정서(이하 REC)를 판매해 3억원 가량의 세외수입을 올렸다고 전했다.

REC는 신재생에너지 설비를 활용해 에너지를 공급했다는 것을 증명하는 인증서이며, 신재생에너지 의무공급화제도(RPS)에 따라 신재생에너지 발전사업자는 REC를 발급받아 현물시장 또는 고정가격 입찰계약을 통해 신재생에너지 의무공급자에게 판매하고 있고, 생산전력 판매비 외의 추가 수익으로, 세외수입 증대에 기여한다.

춘천시에 따르면 올해 신재생에너지 공급인증서 판매액은 3억2,749만4,650원이고, 세 차례에 걸쳐 현물시장에 판매했으며, 1차 수량은 310개(개당:5만3,300원), 2차 수량은 1,474개(개당:5만5,000원), 3차 수량은 4,186개(개당:5만5,000원)다.

춘천시 관계자는 “안정적인 수익을 위해 하반기에는 고정가격 입찰에 참여해 REC를 판매할 예정”이라고 말했다.

한편 춘천시에서 직접 운영 중인 태양광발전소는 소양해드림, 용산해드림, 칠전해드림, 거두해드림, 전력TI해드림, 샘밭해드림 등 6곳이다.
