이날 교육은 세외수입 부과·징수 및 실질적이고 체계적인 체납관리를 위해 세외수입 담당공무원 이해도 향상 및 전문성 강화를 위해 마련되었다.

군에서는 올해 단행된 조직개편 및 인사이동으로 인한 세외수입업무 담당자들의 신속한 업무 습득을 통해 행정업무의 정확성과 신뢰도를 향상과 군민 서비스 개선을 위해 2023년 세외수입 분야 관계법령 개정사항 및 적용방법에 대한 교육을 진행했다.

또한 세외수입 실무 공무원들이 업무에 활용할 수 있는 세외수입 실무, 채권관리, 부가가치세 등 세외수입 교재를 제작해 배포하고 담당공무원들의 애로사항을 청취하고 매년 규모가 늘어나는 세외수입 관련 민원인들의 불편사항 해소를 위한 방안에 대하여 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

아울러 정선군 2022년 세외수입 징수액은 399억 원으로 부과액 419억원 대비 징수율은 95%이다.

이종필 세무과장은 이번 교육을 통하여 세외구입 담당자 공무원들들의 업무역량을 강화하는 계기가 되기를 바란다며, 세외수입 행정서비스 향상으로 납세자에 대한 민원서비스 향상을 위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠다고 말했다.
