기 반출된 3정은 총포안전관리법에 따라 지정일까지 경찰서에 반환되면 추후 반출 불가 통지하며, 체납자에게 체납액 납부 안내 후 미납부 시 압류한 총기를 공매 처분할 예정이라고 전했다. 

포천시는 납부 능력이 없다고 주장하는 체납자의 철저한 재산 조사 등을 통해 요트, 외제차, 건설기계 등에 대한 압류 조치 후 공매를 통해 체납액을 충당한 바 있다고 했다.

포천시 관계자는 “앞으로도 고액·고질체납자의 동산 압류, 가택수색, 번호판 영치 등 강력한 행정제재와 체납처분을 통해 건전한 납세풍토를 조성하고 조세 정의를 실현하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
