[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사) 서울서부지역본부는 21일 관악구청과 영등포구청에서, 8월 집중호우 및 9월 태풍 ‘힌남노’로 인해 피해를 입은 지역 취약계층을 지원하기 위한 2천만원 상당의 기부금 전달식을 가졌다.

이번 기부금 전달은 캠코 서울서부지역본부 관내 관악구와 영등포구가 8월 집중호우로 특별재난지역으로 선포되고, 잇따라 태풍 힌남노에 따른 폭우로 큰 피해를 입은 취약계층의 신속한 피해 복구를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

캠코 서울서부지역본부는 관악구, 영등포구 각 구청에 5백만원의 지원금과 함께 취약계층의 신속한 생활 안정을 지원하기 위해 캠코 사회봉사펀드로 마련한 5백만원 상당의 쌀을 지원함으로써 의미를 더했다.

송종의 캠코 서울서부지역본부장은 “캠코의 작은 정성이 집중호우 및 태풍피해 극복에 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 지역 주민들과 지속적인 소통을 바탕으로 지역 상생․협력에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
