[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 28일 오후 14시 부산국제금융센터(BIFC) 본사 3층 캠코마루에서 ｢부산지역 대학생 역량강화 네트워크(BUFF) 6기｣ 발대식을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

‘BUFF‘는 캠코와 부산은행이 협업을 통해 금융 분야에 관심 있는 부산지역 대학생들이 상호교류와 금융ㆍ경제지식 습득을 통해 취업역량을 강화할 수 있도록 지원하는 ’지역특화 산학협력 지원 프로젝트‘다.

캠코는 2016년 BUFF 1기 출범 이후 코로나19 등으로 인해 모집이 어려웠던 2020년을 제외하고 2021년까지 총 685명의 대학생들의 역량강화를 지원했다. 

올해는 BUFF 6기 출범을 맞아 지난 9월 1일부터 2주간 모집 절차를 거쳐 부산지역 9개 대학 총 92명을 선발했다.

이날 발대식에는 BUFF 6기 참가 대학생 92명을 포함하여 권남주 캠코 사장과 박명철 BNK부산은행 부행장 및 캠코 현직자 멘토 등 관계자 총 100여명이 참석했다.

이번 BUFF 6기는 12월까지 약 4개월 간 맞춤형 취업컨설팅, 금융세미나 등 취업역량 강화 프로그램에 참가하게 되고, 뿐만 아니라 현직자 멘토링과 BNK부산은행 일일캠프 등 취업준비생들에게 실질적인 도움을 주는 프로그램이 제공되며, 활동 우수자에게는 1개월 간 캠코 현장실습 기회도 주어진다.

권남주 캠코 사장은 “올해로 6기를 맞는 BUFF 활동을 통해 지역인재들이 더욱 많은 경험과 취업역량 강화 기회를 가질 수 있길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 부산지역 대표 산학협력 프로젝트로서 BUFF 활동 지원을 통해 지역인재 양성에 힘써 사회적 책임을 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
