[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주지방환경청은 30일부터 비점오염관리지역 주민들의 소통창구로 활용할 '맑은하천지킴이'누리집을 개설 운영한다고 밝혔다.

”맑은하천지킴이“는 민간주도형 소규모 거버넌스 정책 일환으로 강원도 비점오염원관리지역* 내 마을이장, 부녀회장 등을 중심으로 2019년 최초로 구성되어 현재 605명이 활동하고 있다.

* 8개 시·군(605명) : 강릉시(174명), 삼척시(50명), 홍천군(171명), 평창군(53명), 횡성군(20명), 정선군(25명), 양구군(29명), 인제군(85명) 

주요 역할은 고랭지밭에서 발생하는 흙탕물을 줄이기 위한 하천정화활동, 최적관리기법(BMPs) 적용, 친환경 농법 교육 참여, 환경개선을 위한 홍보‧캠페인 활동이다.

개설된 누리집에는 맑은하천지킴이 소개, 최적관리기술(BMPs), 소하천 수질모니터링 활동, 친환경농업 우수사례 소개, 흙탕물 저감 지원사업 안내 등 해당 주민들에게 필요한 정보가 제공된다.

또한 반응형 웹페이지 구축으로 모바일 기기에 최적화된 화면을 제공하고, 주민들이 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 간편하게 구축해 편의성을 향상시켰다.

한편, 누리집 개설기념으로 가입하신 마을주민분들에게 장바구니를 선물로 지급할 계획이다.

김정환 원주지방환경청장은 “이번 맑은하천지킴이 누리집 개설을 통해 흙탕물 저감에 대한 다양한 정보를 제공하고 지역주민들의 자발적 참여를 높여 한강수계 상류의 수질을 개선해 나가겠다 ”고 말했다.
