[김준호 기자=삼척시] 고향사랑기부제 활성화를 위해 박상수 삼척시장이 자매결연도시에 기부금을 납부하며 기부제도 홍보 및 기부 동참에  나섰다. 

19일 삼척시에 따르면 박상수 삼척시장이 NH농협은행 삼척시청출장소를 방문하여, 자매결연도시인 서울 성북구, 인천 연수구, 경기도 구리시, 경기도 이천시, 경기도 성남시, 경상북도 울릉군 6개 시군구에 고향사랑기부금을 기부했다고 밝혔다.

박상수 삼척시장은 “19일 현재 전국에서 110명이 삼척시에 기부하여 주었으며, 고향사랑 기부제를 통해 삼척시를 향한 많은 분들의 따뜻한 마음을 느끼고 있으며, 앞으로 다양한 기금사업을 통한 지역주민 복리 증진과 지역경제 활성화로 보답하겠다.”고 말했다.

아울러 기부금의 30%로 제공되는 답례품은 해당 자매결연도시를 대표하는 답례품으로 선택하여 삼척시 취약계층에 기부할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

삼척시 관계자는 “고향사랑기부제가 성공적으로 정착될 수 있도록 최선을 다하고, 앞으로 지속적인 모니터링을 통해 기부자가 만족하고 기부를 유도할 수 있는 다양한 답례품 개발에도 힘쓰도록 하겠다.”고 말했다.
