[남상훈 기자] 4일 한국자산관리공사는 ’국민과 함께하는 따뜻한 동행으로 내일의 희망을 키우는 캠코’를 목표로 2023년 사회공헌 추진계획을 본격적으로 전개한다고 밝혔다. 

캠코는 올해 코로나19 엔데믹 국면의 상황을 반영해 기존 사회공헌 사업을 확대하고, 중장기적으로 캠코를 대표할 수 있는 사회공헌 사업을 신규로 발굴했다. 올해 사회공헌활동은 크게 총 3개 분야 -일자리지원형, -희망나눔형, -미래성장형으로 나뉘어 체계적으로 추진될 예정이다. 

‘일자리 지원’ 분야에서 부산지역 대학생 역량강화와 보호종료 예정 청소년 및 자립준비 청년의 진학과 취업교육 지원을 확대한다.  어르신을 위해서는 관광지 특성을 반영한 일자리를 새롭게 마련할 예정이다. 

‘희망나눔’ 분야에서 캠코는 지역아동센터 내 작은도서관인 캠코브러리 설치, 저소득가정의 제주도 가족여행, 시각장애인 오디오북 제작 등의 사업을 펼칠 예정이다. 특히, 올해는 아동복지시설 내 보호아동 거주환경 개보수를 지원하는 캠코 온리 사업을 확대한다.

‘미래성장’ 분야에서 임직원 걸음기부를 통해 숲 조성을 지원하는 포레스트 캠코와 더불어 안전사고 예방을 위한 안전구조물 설치를 돕는 ‘안전누리 캠코’ 사업을 신규 추진한다. 이밖에도 공사 업과 관련한  사회공헌활동을 지속 발굴해 나갈 계획이다. 

한편, 캠코는 ‘캠코브러리’ 설치, 저소득 가정 ‘제주도 가족여행’, 시각장애인 ‘그림해설 오디오북’제작, ‘신장이식 환자 수술비’ 지원 등 꾸준한 사회공헌활동으로 나눔문화 확산에 앞장선 공로를 인정받아 산업정책연구원이 주관하는 ‘대한민국 CEO 명예의 전당(사회공헌 부문)’을 수상한 바 있다.

권남주 캠코 사장은 “금번 사회공헌계획은 코로나19를 넘어 일상을 회복하고 있는 상황을 적극 반영했다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 신규 사회공헌 활동을 추가 발굴해 나감으로써 사회적 책임을 다하고 국민으로부터 신뢰받는 공공기관으로 자리매김할 것”이라고 강조했다.
