[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 15일, 가평군 육아종합지원센터와 센터 직원 14명이 정성을 모아 이웃돕기 성금을 군에 기탁하여 전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 가평군 육아종합지원센터에서 기탁한 금액은 총 700,000원에 달하며 군관계자는 적절한 수요를 파악하여 가평군의 어려운 이웃들을 위해 배분할 예정이라고 전했다.

전달식에 참석한 가평군 육아종합지원센터 김영화 센터장은 “코로나19 상황이 작년에 이어 올해에도 종식되지 않고 이어지는 어려운 시기에 우리 관내 불우이웃에게 조금이나마 힘이 되고자 하며, 나눔에 동참하게 되어 매우 기쁘다.”라는 소감을 밝히며 성금을 군에 기탁하였다고 했다. 

김 성기 군수는 “가평군 육아종합지원센터 직원분들이 우리군에 있는 어려운 이웃들을 위해서 십시일반 성금을 모금해 주셔서 매우 고맙게 생각한다.”며 전해주신 성금은 관내 저소득 주민에게 잘 전달하도록 하겠다”라며 감사의 인사를 밝혔다.
