[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 1일, 동두천시는 사회복지 공동모금회와 협업으로 진행하는 ‘희망나눔 행복드림’ 착한일터 가입식을 시청 시장실에서 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이순산업(주) 동두천 사업장은 동두천시 상패동에 위치한 레미콘 제조 및 건자재 유통업체로, 지난 2003년부터 운영하고 있으며, 이날 행사는 동두천시 최용덕 시장 및 공동모금회 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐고, 이순산업(주) 동두천 사업장 임직원이 취약계층을 위한 정기후원에 가입하여 제110호 착한일터로 선정되었다고 했다.

최용덕 동두천시장은 “동두천시 나눔문화 확산을 위해 관심을 가져주시고 직접 실천해주신 이순산업 임직원들께 진심으로 감사를 드린다”며, “착한일터로 모금되는 후원금은 공적 지원을 받지 못하는 어려움에 처한 우리 이웃을 위해 소중하게 사용하겠다”고 전했다. 

손홍남 공장장은 “지역사회 이웃들에게 희망을 드리고자 작지만 뜻깊은 후원을 하게 되었다”며, “이순산업이 착한일터가 된 만큼, 동두천시 나눔문화 확산을 위해 다양한 활동을 이어나가겠다”고 말했다.
