[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 25일 동두천시는 경기북부사랑의 열매와 협업으로 진행하는 동두천 ‘희망나눔 행복드림’ 착한일터 가입식을 시청 시장실에서 실시하였다고 밝혔다. 

이날 가입식은 최용덕 동두천시장 및 월드콜 대표, 공동모금회 관계자 등 최소 인원이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 배달대행 업체인 월드콜을 동두천시 제105호 착한일터로 선정했다고 했다. 

이시현 대표는 “코로나19로 힘든 시기에 직원들과 함께 지역의 어려운 분들을 위한 나눔에 동참하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “물질적인 후원 뿐만 아니라 봉사활동을 통해서도 지속적인 나눔을 실천해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

최용덕 시장은 “희망나눔 행복드림 정기후원에 가입해준 모든 분들의 따뜻한 마음이 모여 어려운 이웃에게 용기와 희망을 주고 있다”며, “후원금은 공적 지원을 받지 못하는 복지사각지대를 위해 소중하게 사용하겠다”고 전했다.
