이번에 선정된 의료법인 가화의료재단은 동원정신병원, 동원노인전문병원, 경기도립노인전문동두천병원 등의 병원 및 기관을 운영하고 있으며, 세 곳의 병원에서 60명의 임·직원이 정기후원에 가입하여 착한일터 103호로 선정됐다고 말했다.

이날 참석한 윤동원 원장은 “코로나19로 인해 지쳐 있을 직원들이 고맙게도 지역사회를 위해 자발적으로 정기후원 회원에 가입하여 착한일터에 가입하게 되었다”며, “앞으로도 이러한 사회공헌 활동뿐만 아니라 다양한 모습을 통해 동두천시의 귀감이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
