[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 22일 동두천시 제31회 동은서예전이 동두천시 자유수호평화박물관에서 개최됐다고 밝혔다. 

동은서도회 주관으로 열린 이번 전시회는 회원들의 서예 작품 50여점이 전시됐으며, 동은서예전은 오는 10월 27일까지 계속되며 무료로 관람할 수 있다고 했다. 

31회째를 맞이한 동은서예전은 역사가 오래된 전통 있는 서예 전시회로 동두천시민회관, 동두천시청 등 지역 내 다양한 곳에서 전시행사를 해왔고, 이번 전시회에 특별히 동두천시 최용덕 시장이 방문해 동은서도회 회원들을 격려하였다고 했다. 

최용덕 시장은 “글씨는 그 사람과 같다는 말이 있듯이 서예는 인격과 인품을 나타내는 예술로서 내면의 정신문화를 감상할 수 있는 좋은 시간이었다”고 전했다.
