최용덕 시장은 “개인이 마음을 내어 후원하기도 쉽지 않은 일인데, 직원들이 뜻을 모아 어려운 시민을 위해 자발적으로 참여하는 모습을 보며, 큰 감동을 받았다”며, “앞으로도 지역복지 증진을 통해 복지사각지대 발굴 및 해소를 위해 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
 

한편, ㈜신진워싱은 지난 2002년 설립이후 꾸준한 연구 개발을 통해 천연 염색을 원스톱 공정으로 만들어내는데 성공했으며, 이를 통해 2020년 제30회 한국섬유·패션대상 친환경부문 대상을 수상하기도 했다.
