[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 29일 동두천시는 사회복지 공동모금회와 협업으로 진행하는 ‘희망나눔 행복드림’ 착한일터 가입식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 최용덕 동두천시장 및 공동모금회 관계자 등 5명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 선정된 곳은 조선곰탕 식당과 야영장을 운영하는 파인힐빌리지캠핑장으로 임·직원이 ‘희망나눔, 행복드림’ 정기후원에 가입하여 각각 착한일터 111호와 112호로 선정됐다고 했다.

최용덕 동두천시장은 “동두천시 나눔문화가 나날이 확산되고 있다는 것을 체감하고 있다”며, “착한일터를 통해 모인 후원금은 취약계층뿐만 아니라 코로나19로 인해 어려워진 이웃들에게 사용할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 감사를 전했다. 

동두천시는 ‘희망나눔 행복드림’ 착한일터 사업을 통해 모인 후원금을 공적 지원을 받지 못하는 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용하고 있으며, 착한일터에 대한 문의는 동두천시 지역사회보장협의체로 연락하면 된다고 밝혔다.
