[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 23일 14:00, 정선군자원봉사센터에서는 정선군자원봉사센터 2층 회의실에서 SOS 정선 자원봉사 협의체 재난 안전 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

SOS 정선 자원봉사 협의체는 재난 발생 시 체계적 자원봉사 및 수습・복구의 원활한 지원 활동 등 지역 자원봉사단체 간 협력체계 구축을 위해 운영될 예정이며, 협의체 교육에 필요한 예산은 전액 국비로 지난 행정안전부 공모사업에 선정되어 추진하게 되었고, 재난 안전 교육은 김철 강사를 초빙하여 재난・재해의 이해 및 재난 발생 시의 자원봉사자의 역할과 재난 발생 위급 상황 시 필요한 재난 키트 활용방법 실습 등으로 진행되었으며, 관내 20개 자원봉사단체 대표가 참석하여 서로 간의 역할에 관한 토론도 함께 진행된다고 했다.

장기봉 소장은 “이번 교육을 통해 자원봉사자들의 재난 복구 역량을 높여 대규모 재난 발생 시에 민・관이 협력하여 재난 복구가 신속하게 이루어질 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
