[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 지난 11일 13시 북부지방산림청 대회의실에서 제42대 임하수 청장 취임식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

신임 임하수 청장은 취임식에서 산림 르네상스 실현을 이끄는 기관이 되기 위해 다음 사항을 중점적으로 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.

특히, 취임 후 첫 행보로 백운산자연휴양림을 방문하여 산림다중이용시설 및 산림토목사업장의 집중호우 대비 긴급 안전점검을 실시하며 관내 사업장의 산림피해 예방 및 최소화를 당부했다.

임하수 북부지방산림청장은 “먼저, 장마철 호우로 인한 생명과 재산 피해 최소화를 최선의 과제로 삼겠다.”며, “소통을 통해 열린 마음으로 현장의 문제 해결에 앞장서겠다.”고 말했다.
