[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군선거관리위원회는 2023년 3월 8일 실시하는 제3회 전국동시조합장선거와 관련하여 후보자들을 대상으로 '매니페스토 정책선거 실천 협약식'을 개최했다.

2월 22일 후보자 등록 마감 후 정선군선관위 대회의실에서 개최한 이번 협약식에서는 본격적인 선거운동에 앞서 만연하고 있는 돈 선거와 비방·흑색선전 등을 근절하고 정책경쟁을 통한 깨끗하고 공정한 선거문화 정착을 다짐하는 선언문에 후보자들이 서명을 하고, 정정당당한 경쟁을 다짐하는 방식으로 진행되었다.

이번 조합장선거에서는 정선농협 5명, 예미농협 2명, 여량농협 2명, 임계농협 3명, 정선군산림조합 3명이 최종 후보자로 등록하였으며 13일 동안 당선을 위해 열띤 경쟁을 벌일 예정이다.

정선군선관위는 후보자들에게 선거법을 반드시 준수해 줄 것을 당부하였고, 이번 조합장선거가 깨끗하고 공정한 선거로 치러질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다고 밝히면서 후보자와 선거인들도 함께 노력해주기를 바란다고 말했다.
