[김택곤 기자=영월군] 영월진로체험지원센터는 20일 영월교육지원청 2층 대회의실에서 ‘우리 지역 아이들 꿈을 지원하는 2023학년도 영월 진로교육 담당교사 협의회’를 개최했다.

이번 협의회는 영월지역 초,중,고 각급 학교의 진로교사 및 진로담당 교사들이 모여 2022학년도 진로교육과정 운영을 평가, 반영하여 효율적인 2023학년도 진로교육을 추진하기 위한 목적으로 진행됐다.

또한 2023학년도 진로교육 내실화를 위한 학교교육과정 반영 사항 및 강원도 진로교육 추진 방향의 내용을 공유하고 영월진로체험지원센터의 프로그램의 운영 방향을 설정, 학교 현장 중심의 진로교육을 활성화하는 방향으로 협의가 진행되었다.

특히, 교육부에서 추진하고 있는 신산업 분야의 활성화, 지역 내 자원의 진로교육 연계 등 현시대 트렌드에 밀접한 교육과정운영을 추진할 예정이다.

영월교육지원청 김장열 장학사는 “학생들에게 실질적인 직업과 진로교육을 지원하기 위해 영월진로체험지원센터, 영월교육지원청, 교사들의 협력이 필요하다.”라며 “이런 협력을 통해 우리 아이들이 자기주도적 진로탐색과 결정이 확장해 나갈 수 있기를 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
