[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군 청평면 소재 평원산업과 서울철물이 지난 16일 청평면 행정복지센터를 방문해 이웃돕기 성금으로 각 5백만원씩 총 1천만원을 기탁했다고 전했다. 

평원산업 김범준 대표는 “겨울을 맞아 지역 내 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 나는데 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 성금을 기탁했다. 도움이 필요한 곳에 잘 사용되면 좋겠다.”라고 뜻을 전했다.

또한, 서울철물 김신자 대표는 “연말을 맞이하여 성금을 지원할 수 있어 감사하다. 나눔을 실천하는데 적극적으로 앞장서겠다.”라고 말했다. 

지병록 청평면장은 “요즘처럼 어려운 시기에 따뜻한 온정을 나누어주셔서 감사하다. 부부께서 각각의 사업체를 운영하시면서 기탁해주신 성금은 더욱 큰 의미가 있다. 귀한 성금은 청평면의 복지사각지대에 있는 분들에게 소중히 사용하겠다.”라고 말했다.    

기탁된 성금 일천만원은 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 청평면 취약계층에게 전달될 예정이다.
