풍천민물장어는 소요동의 봉사하는 착한식당으로 독거노인, 장애인 등 식사 해결에 어려움이 있는 취약계층을 돕기 위해 매달 생선구이, 장어탕 등 다양한 음식을 후원하고 있으며, 이날 기탁 받은 고등어는 소요동 맞춤형복지팀에서 대상자 가정을 방문하여 전달하며 찾아가는 복지 상담을 실시했다고 했다.

김금자 대표는 “이웃들께 맛있게 구운 고등어를 맛보여 드릴 수 있어서 기쁘다”며 “추운 겨울을 보낼 이웃들이 한 끼 맛있게 드시고 조금이나마 힘이 되셨으면 한다”고 말했다.
