[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 15일 동두천시 소요동 행정복지센터는 동두천시 로컬드림봉사회에서 관내 저소득 어르신 50세대에 정성껏 만든 닭볶음탕을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 ‘로컬드림봉사회’는 소요동의 봉사하는 착한가게인 ㈜마니커 동두천지점에서 후원한 생닭 100kg으로 영양 가득한 닭볶음탕을 만들어 보살핌이 필요한 어르신 가정에 방문해 전달했고, 더불어 동절기에 취약한 어르신들의 건강을 꼼꼼히 살피는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “식사해결에 어려움이 있으신 어르신들이 한 끼 든든하고 맛있게 드셔 주셨으면 하고, 앞으로도 로컬드림봉사회는 도움이 필요한 곳이라면 어디든 달려가겠다”며 포부를 밝혔다.
