[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 7월 21일 의정부시는 이마트에서 768만 원 상당의 식료품 키트 250세트를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이날 혹서기 맞이 원기회복 키트 전달식은 시장실에서 열렸으며 조진성 이마트 의정부점의 점장 외 강기태 경기도사회복지협의회의 회장, 윤연희 의정부시사회복지협의회의 회장이 참석했다고 했다. 

조진성 이마트 의정부 점장은 “무더운 여름, 지역의 소외된 이웃들에게 더위의 시름을 덜어주고 건강한 여름을 날 수 있도록 원기회복 키트를 지원하게 되었다.”고 말했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “소외계층들이 무더운 날씨를 이겨낼 수 있도록 도움을 주셔서 감사드리며, 이마트 의정부가 전해주신 따뜻한 마음을 잘 전달하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

혹서기 맞이 원기회복 키트는 체력소모가 많은 여름을 맞이하여 건강한 여름을 날 수 있도록 원기회복이 되는 식품들로 구성되어 있으며, 전달식 이후 관내 취약계층에 배분될 예정이라고 했다.
