[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 가평군 사이버농업인연구회는 연말연시 소외된 독거노인을 위한 농산물 나눔행사를 진행하였다고 밝혔다.

코로나19 장기화로 인해 모두가 힘든 시기임에도 불구하고 22명의 회원이농가에서 생산된 농산물과 이를 가공해 만든 가공식품 30개 품목을 기부하여 복지의 사각지대에 놓인 독거노인을 위한 나눔을 펼쳤고, 각 읍면별 지역주민들의 추천을 받아 총 40명에게 직접 전달하였다고 전했다.

가평군 사이버농업인 연구회는 농업기술센터에서 주관하는 강소농 경영개선실천교육 수료생들로 구성된 단체로 회원 간 농산물 품앗이 포스팅, 블로그, 유튜브. 스마트스토어 등 홍보와 판매의 교육을 받아 e-비즈니스 역량을 강화하는 농업인 연구회로 현재 60여명의 회원이 활동하고 있다고 했다. 

가평군 사이버농업인 연구회 홍광임 회장은 “다가오는 겨울철 독거어르신들이 따뜻한 겨울을 나는데 조금이나마 마음의 보탬이 되었으면 좋겠고, 앞으로도 농업기술센터와 더불어 지역사회 e-비즈니스 창출과 더불어 꾸준한 나눔을 실천하는 단체가 되겠다”라고 말했다.
