[김준호 기자 =삼척시] 삼척시는 “삼척의 맛” 대표 음식 발굴·선정 교육을 통해 지역 대표 음식 한상차림 메뉴 2종을 발굴, 선정한다.

교육은 지난 10월 6일부터 11월 24일까지 8회(16시간)과정으로 진행되며, 교육 참여자 16명을 대상으로 삼척시 농업기술센터에서 진행한다. 교육생으로는 삼척시 향토요리연구회, 생활개선회, 관내 음식업소 및 일반 시민 등이 참여하고 있다.

지난 2020년도에는 대표음식 발굴교육으로 해산물밥상과 산과들밥상 총 2종의 한상차림 메뉴가 발굴되었으며, 이번 교육을 통해 앞서 선정되었던 메뉴의 대중성·단가·가격 등 대중성을 검토하여 회차별 자체 시식품평회 등 교육생 의견수렴 후, 한상차림 2종을 최종적으로 선정하게 된다. 

시는 대표음식 발굴교육을 통하여 삼척시 지역 농특산물의 우수성을 알리고 지역을 대표하는 관광음식을 발굴하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
