[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 5월 5일 오전 10시부터 원주시는 제100회 어린이날을 맞아 '2022 비대면 원주어린이날 큰잔치'를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

원주어린이날큰잔치 추진위원회가 주관하는 행사로 (사)강원민예총원주지부, 원주밝음신협, 원주YMCA, 원주어린이집연합회, 원주사립유치원연합회, 명륜종합사회복지관, 전국교직원노동조합 원주횡성초등지회 등 7개 관내 아동 관련 단체가 협업 추진하며 원주시가 지원한다고 했다.

이번 행사는 코로나19 장기화에 따라 비대면 방식으로 사전 기획됐으며, 올해로 100회를 맞이한 어린이날인 만큼 ‘평화야 놀자’라는 테마로 어린이와 가족 모두가 풍성하게 즐길 수 있도록 더욱 다채로운 문화예술 공연과 체험활동, 이벤트 등이 유튜브 채널 ‘원주어린이날 큰잔치’를 통해 진행될 예정이라고 전했다.

앞서 신청을 받아 각 가정에 배송된 선물 꾸러미(만들기 세트) 제작 영상을 비롯해 사전 녹화된 팝페라 및 마술, 치어댄스, 클래식, 비보이, 합기도 시범 등 10개 팀의 다양한 문화예술 공연이 상영되며, 평화를 주제로 한 어린이 UCC를 오는 30일까지 접수해 우수작을 상영하고 원주사랑상품권 지급과 함께 시상할 계획이고 행사 당일 실시간으로 진행되는 참가 인증샷, 퀴즈 및 삼행시 이벤트, 응원 댓글을 선정해 원주사랑상품권을 지급하는 등 다채로운 프로그램도 진행된다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “이번 행사는 100회를 맞이하는 뜻깊은 어린이날 행사로, 코로나19로 지친 어린이와 가족에게 따뜻한 위로와 즐거움을 전달할 예정이다.”라며, “원주시 어린이와 가족의 많은 참여를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
