[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군 농업기술센터는 경기도농업기술원이 주최한 ‘2022년도 농촌진흥사업 평가’에서 농촌자원분야 우수기관으로 선정됐다고 31일 밝혔다.

가평군은 20개 시․군을 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가에서 신규농업인 양성, 치유농업 활성화 추진, 농산물 가공제품 상품화 등 농촌자원분야에 기여한 점을 높게 평가받아 기관표창과 시상금 300만원을 받았다.

지난해 가군은 농촌 치유농장 육성, 오감만족 재밌는 쌀 체험여행 교실 , 농촌 어르신 복지실천, 도시농업 육성지원, 경영개선 컨설팅 농가 시설개선 및 브랜드 활성화 지원 등 농촌자원분야 농업기술보급 6개 시범사업을 추진함으로서 큰 호응을 얻었다.

경영․품목담당 지도사 및 민간전문가를 통한 경영․기술 컨설팅 지원 등 강소농 육성과 소비자를 대상으로 농산물 활용 식문화 확산 교육을 통해 먹거리의 중요성을 알리고 농산물 소비확대 추진에 힘써왔다.

이와 함께 치매안심센터, 주간보호시설, 복지관, 어린이집 등 관내 유관시설 320여명을 대상으로 농장연계 치유프로그램 활성화 사업도 추진해 호평을 받았다.    

아울러 도시농업관리사 양성 교육, 가공연구회 실습 및 현장 교육, 시설채소 해외전문가 활용 및 초빙 교육, 과수 전정․궤양제거 현장기술 교육 등 농업인 역량개발 33개 과정에 2000여명이 참가하는 성과도 이뤘다.

가평군은 이 밖에도 꼬마농부학교 프로그램 운영, 도시민 초청 도농교류 체험행사 추진, 도시농업체험 어린이대상 김장하는 날 추진, 지역사회보장협의체 현장체험 추진, 사이버농업인연구회 육성사업 등도 추진해  농촌자원분야에 호평을 받았다.  

가평군 농기센터 이원산 소장은 “이번 성과는 코로나19 등으로 어려운 상황에서도 농촌진흥사업 추진에 힘써준 직원들과 새로운 농업변화 흐름에 적극 대응해 주신 농업인들의 노력의 결과”라며 “앞으로도 더 체계적이고 적극적인 업무추진으로 풍요롭고 활력이 넘치는 농촌구현에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
