시민의 날 전야제 행사로 오는 5일 오후 7시에는 코로나19 위기 극복에 앞장선 의료진과 자원봉사자의 노고를 격려하기 위한 평화음악회가 열리는데, 반월아트홀 대극장에서 열리는 평화음악회에는 세계적 팝페라테너 임형주와 한국 대표 뮤지컬디바 김소현, 미국 오페라계의 샛별 소프라노 조수아가 함께 하며, 코리안내셔널필하모닉 오케스트라가 연주를 선보인다고 했다. 

오는 6일에는 본 행사인 기념식을 포함해 다채로운 행사가 이어지는데, 기념식은 오전 10시 반월아트홀대극장에서 식전공연, 시민헌장낭독, 포천시민대상 시상식 등이 개최되며, 당일 오후에는 주민자치센터 어울림 한마당으로 플루트, 아코디언, 민요, 에어로빅, 댄스 등 어울림 한마당 공연이 펼쳐지고, 기념식과 공연은 포천시청 유튜브 채널을 통해 생중계될 예정이라고 전했다.
