[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 30일 의정부시건강가정다문화가족지원센터는 ‘다문화가족 동아리, 팀 투게더’의 공연을 유튜브로 발표했다고 밝혔다.

이번 영상 발표회는 센터 다문화가족 동아리 모임 사업에 참여하였던 회원들이 지난 1년 동안 꾸준히 갈고 닦은 벨리댄스와 컵타·칼림바·밤벨·톤차임 악기 연주 발표회로 진행됐고, 참여한 결혼이민자들에게는 자신들의 재능을 공연으로 보여줄 수 있는 특별한 무대 경험으로 자신감 향상의 기회가 됐으며, 영상 발표회를 관람한 비다문화 가족들에게는 다문화사회 및 다문화가족의 인식 개선을 위한 틀을 마련하였다는데 그 의의가 크다고 할 수 있다고 했다.

다문화가족 동아리 모임 사업은 지난 4월부터 칼림바 동아리, 밤벨·톤차임 동아리, 벨리댄스 동아리로 각각 주 1회씩 진행되었고, 이는 결혼이민자 개인의 자존감을 향상시키고, 동아리 모임 구성원간의 소통을 통해, 다문화가족의 건강증진 향상 및 안정적인 한국 생활 정착을 돕는데 크게 기여했다고 전했다.

영상발표회에 참여한 결혼이민자들은 “지속되는 코로나19로 무기력해진 삶에 활력소가 되었고 1년 동안 배운 악기연주와 밸리댄스를 비대면 발표회를 통해 선보일 수 있어 뿌듯하고 뜻깊은 시간이었다. ”라고 소감을 전했다. 

의정부시건강가정다문화가족지원센터는 앞으로도 다문화가족 동아리모임 활성화를 위해 결혼이민자들의 여가시간 활용지원과 재능 계발을 위한 다양한 동아리 활동을 꾸준히 지원하며, 결혼이민자들의 공연활동 및 재능기부를 통해 지역사회 통합에 기여하고, 한국사회에 긍정적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있도록 다문화가족 동아리 모임을 적극적으로 운영할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
