[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군이 재난발생시 대응능력 향상을 위해 재난대응 및 예방활동 추진에 만전을 기울여 나가기로 했다고 31일 밝혔다.

군은 올해 코로나19 사회적 거리두기 해제에 따른 물놀이 행락객 증가에 대비해 재난안전특별교부세 6억여 원을 들여 물놀이 안전관리 CCTV 30대를 설치할 예정이다.

또한, 관내 물놀이 관리지역 30여개소에 130여 명의 안전관리요원을 배치해 순찰을 강화하고, 각종 범죄를 사전에 예방하고 재난안전사고 발생시 신속한 대처 등을 위해 600여개 소에 설치된 방범용 CCTV 1천280여대를 한곳에서 확인할 수 있는 24시간 실시간 통합관제센터 운영키로 했다.

앞서 군은 지난 2020년, 지능형 CCTV 400여대를 구축해 선별 관제 등 지능형 관제시스템을 통한 관제요원의 모니터링 효율성을 향상시켰으며, 다수 인명사고 징후 포착시 신속한 동향관리와 지휘체계 가동을 위한 보고체계를 확립하고자 'CCTV 통합관제센터 운영 매뉴얼' 을 개정하기도 했다.

특히 군은 풍수해로 인한 피해를 최소화 하고 재난․재해없는 안전한 가평조성을 위한 상습 침수지역 내 침수차단설비를 설치하고 급경사지 붕괴위험지역과 하천․배수로 등의 정비를 통해 자연재해에 대한 대비를 지속적으로 추진한다는 방침이다.

아울러 재난안전관리를 위한 특수시책으로 지난해부터 드론을 활용한 재난대비 예찰활동을 실시하면서 폭염 행동요령 안내방송 등을 실시간으로 현장 전달하고 있다.

더불어 유관기관 합동으로 관내 학교를 대상으로 전국 최초 내구연한 경과 방독면을 활용한 국가비상사태 및 재난상황에 대한 필수 안전교육을 실시하고 있으며, 횡단보도와 킥보드 관련 주의사항, 화재대피요령 등을 홍보함으로써 학생들의 안전의식 공감대를 형성하고 유관기관과의 협력체계를 강화하고 있다.
