또한, 연휴기간에도 상황반을 설치하여 사고발생 시 즉시 현장 대응할 수 있도록 신속한 대응체계를 구축할 예정이며, 24시간 환경오염신고 상담창구를 운영하여 환경오염행위에 대해 즉시 신고를 할 수 있도록 할 계획이라고 전했다. 

동두천시 관계자는 “환경오염사고가 발생하지 않도록 예방하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하기 때문에 시민과 사업장 관계자의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 밝혔다.
