[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 지난 16일 일요일 오전 8시 40분경 동해시 해안로 삼영LPG 충전소 인근에서 승용차와 이륜차 추돌하는 교통사고가 발생했다.

동해경찰서 교통조사팀에 따르면, 운전부주의로 발생한 사고 운전자들은 동해시 동인병원과 동해병원으로 각각 이송되었으나, 이륜차 운전자는 사망했고, 승용차 운전자는 중상으로 입원했다고 전했다. 

한편,  이날 교통사고 당사자들은 동해를 찾은 방문객들로 알려져 안타까움이 더해 가고 있다.
