[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도소방본부는 8일부터 오는 13일까지 추석 연휴를 맞아 소방공무원, 의용소방대원 등 만 여명의 소방인력과 770여 대의장비를 동원하여 전 소방관서 특별경계근무에 돌입한다고 밝혔다.

기간 중, 선제적 화재예방을 위하여 ▸전통시장 등 취약시설 순찰 강화를 통한 화재요인 사전제거, 터미널 등 다중운집장소 현장대응 강화를 위한 소방력 근접배치, 판매시설에 대한 비상구 지도점검 등을 추진하며, 현장대응 강화를 위해 재난발생시 초기에 가용소방력 총동원  인명·재산피해 최소화, 소방관서장 지휘선상 근무와 현장 중심의 대응체계구축, 119신고 폭주에 대비하여 종합상황실 근무자 보강, 응급환자 대비 119구급상황관리센터 의료지도체계를 강화한다.

최근 5년 강원도에서는 추석명절 동안 총 94건, 일 평균 3.3건의 화재가 발생하였다. 장소별로는 주거시설이 36.1%(34건)의 비중이 높고, 원인별로는 부주의로 인한 화재가 43.6%(41건)를 차지했으며, 시간대 별로는 오후 시간대가 높아 각별한 주의를 요구된다.

특히 올해의 추석은 거리두기 해제 이후 처음 맞는 명절임에 따라  전년대비 명절음식 준비 등 화기취급 수요가 늘어날 것이 예상되어 더욱 각별한 주의가 요구된다.
