[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 8일 내촌면 지역사회보장협의체는 한파취약계층에 400만원 상당 난방쿠폰과 연탄을 지원하는 ‘온동네 따뜻한 겨울나기 사업’을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

‘온동네 따뜻한 겨울나기 사업’은 경기사회복지공동모금회로부터 내촌면 관내 기업 및 개인 후원자가 기부한 이웃돕기 후원금을 배분받아 20만원 상당의 난방쿠폰을 20가구에, 연탄 3,000장을 10가구에 각각 전달했다고 했다.

김경애 보장협의체 위원장은 “후원자들의 정성과 사랑이 담긴 후원금을 통해 만들어진 난방쿠폰과 연탄으로 어려운 이웃들이 조금이나마 따뜻한 겨울을 보냈으면 좋겠다.”라며 “앞으로도 다양한 사업을 통해 이웃과 소통하겠다.”라고 말했다.

강성모 내촌면장은 “취약계층 지원을 위해 노력해주시는 보장협의체 위원님들께 감사드리며, 소외된 이웃 없이 모두 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 전했다.
