[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 9일 동두천시 건축직 공무원들과 관내 건축사들은 생연1동 행정복지센터를 방문하여 취약계층을 위한 연탄 2000장을 기부했다고 밝혔다.

당초 계획은 직원들과 건축사들이 취약가구를 직접 방문하여 전달하려고 했으나, 코로나19 확산을 우려하여 생연1동 주민센터에 전달하는 것으로 대신했고, 동두천시 건축직 공무원들과 기부에 동참한 관내 건축사들은 코로나19가 장기화되고 추운 겨울이 다가옴에 따라 소외된 주민들에게 작은 위로가 되어 드리고자 이번 기부를 준비했다고 했다.

이번 기부는 동두천시에 소재지를 둔 7개의 건축사사무소 ‘가인건축사사무소, 더바로건축사사무소, 동두천건축사사무소, 유진건축사사무소, 제이에스건축사사무소, 프라임건축사사무소, 효성건축사사무소’에서 동참했다고 전했다.
