[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 11일 동두천시 로컬드림봉사회는 동두천시 드림스타트 아동 가정의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위해 베란다 장판을 설치했다고 밝혔다.

동두천시청 신우회에서 10만원 및 로컬드림봉사회 회원들의 후원으로 드림스타트 아동 가정에 맞춤형 장판을 설치하여 아동들이 겨울에도 따뜻하게 놀이할 수 있도록 공간을 조성했다고 전했다.

로컬드림봉사회는 동두천시자원봉사센터 소속 봉사단체로 다양한 분야의 협약을 통해 노숙인 이·미용서비스, 취약계층 지원, 주환경개선 서비스, 병원이송 서비스 등 봉사활동을 활발히 이어나가고 있다고 했다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “드림스타트 대상아동에게 조금이라도 도움을 줄 수 있어 보람되며, 봉사활동에 발 벗고 나서는 회원들에게 감사드린다”고 소감을 전했다.
