[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 동두천시 소요동 행정복지센터는 동두천시 로컬드림봉사회가 소요동 독거노인, 장애인 등 취약계층 50세대에 정성껏 만든 닭곰탕을 전달했다고 밝혔다.  

이날 ‘로컬드림봉사회’는 소요동의 봉사하는 착한가게인 ㈜마니커 동두천지점에서 후원한 닭으로 기력 회복을 위한 닭곰탕을 만들어 보살핌이 필요한 취약계층 가정에 방문해 전달했고, 더불어 이웃들의 건강상태를 꼼꼼히 살피는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “평소 식사에 어려움이 있으신 이웃분들이 한 끼 든든하고 맛있게 드셔 주셨으면 하고, 앞으로도 남에게 보여주는 봉사가 아닌 마음으로 다가가는 진정한 봉사자가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
