[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 4일 경기도가 발표한 1차 심사 결과에 따르면, 포천시가 신청한 경기도경제과학진흥원, 경기주택도시공사, 경기도농수산진흥원 3곳 모두 1차 심사를 통과했다고 밝혔다.

앞서 경기도가 밝힌 3차 공공기관 이전 공모에서 경기도경제과학진흥원과 경기주택도시공사는 각각 11개 지자체, 경기도농수산진흥원은 6개 지자체가 지원하며 치열한 경쟁을 벌였다고 했다.

포천시는 그간 3개 공공기관 유치에 모든 역량을 집중했으며 공공기관 포천시 유치를 위한 호소문을 발표하고, 범시민 서명운동을 전개해 22만 3,653명이 동참했다고 전했다.

이외에도 시민들이 자발적으로 유치 운동을 펼치며 공공기관 이전의 최적지임을 홍보하고, 희망과 염원의 메시지를 전했다.
