지난 4일에는 박윤국 포천시장이 관인면 탄동리의 한 농가를 방문해 노고를 격려하고 수확의 기쁨을 함께했으며, 이번에 수확한 벼는 오대벼계통 품종으로 조장미(早場米)로 출수 후 42일만에 수확이라고 했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “농부의 손길이 88번이 닿아야 쌀 한 톨이 생산된다고 한다. 그간의 노고에 대한 진심 어린 감사와 풍년 농사에 대한 축하를 드린다.”라며 “농민들 모두 대풍 농사를 이루시기를 바라며, 정성 가득인 포천 햅쌀의 브랜드 가치를 높이기 위해 시에서도 적극 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
