[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 16일 북부지방산림청은 산사태로부터 인명과 재산피해를 최소화하고 신속하게 대응하기 위한 ‘산사태대책상황실’ 운영을 알리는 현판식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

산사태대책상황실은 여름철 자연재난대책기간인 지난 5월 15일부터 오는 10월 15일까지 운영하며, 지방산림청 및 각 국유림관리소에 설치되어 산사태 위기경보 수준(관심·주의·경계·심각)에 따라 예방·대비·대응·복구 임무를 수행한다고 했다.

또한 집중호우 및 태풍 내습으로 산사태 발생이 우려될 경우 취약주민을 대상으로 위험경보 알림 서비스 제공하는 등 인명피해 예방을 위한 조치와 상황관리 및 응급복구 등을 지원하는 역할을 한다고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 현장 대응력 강화를 위해 우기 전(6월말) 사방사업 완료뿐만 아니라 산사태취약지역 전수 점검 및 주민 대피체계구축 등으로 상황 대비에 만전을 기할 계획이라고 전했다.
