[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군(군수 최승준)은 자연재난에 안전한 국민고향 정선을 만들기 위하여 2023년 재해예방사업으로 4개분야 10개사업에 국비 56억원, 도비 12억원 등 총 140억 원을 투자한다.

재해예방사업은 각종 자연재해로부터 위험성이 높은 지역에 대한 선제적대응으로 군민들의 소중한 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위해 추진하는 사업으로 2023년도에는 자연재해위험 개선지구정비 2개소에 32억원, 급경사지정비 2개소에 77억원, 재난CCTV 신설 및 개선사업 등에 31억원을 투자한다.

특히, 적은 양의 비에도 빈번한 침수로 인해 주민 고립이 발생되는 정선읍 광하1리 군언마을 진입도로 구간을 신규대상지로 선정하여 26년까지 90억원의 사업비를 투자할 계획이며, 지난해 12월 타당성 용역을 실시하고 24년에 착공할수 있도록 23년도에 실시설계 용역을 비롯한 모든 행정절차를 마무리 할 계획이다. 

또한, 총사업비 190억 원이 투자되는 정선읍 봉양리 급경사지 붕괴위험지역 정비사업은 지난해 3월 착공하여 공사가 한창 진행 중으로 사업이 완료되면 급경사지 사면의 토사유출 및 산사태 발생의 위험과 도로침수가 해소됨으로서 정선병원 일대 군도 3호선을 통행하는 많은 주민들의 안전한 주행여건이 마련될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

군은 2023년도 재해예방사업을 추진함에 있어 “우기전 주요공정 60% 이상 완료”,“예산 84억원 조기집행”을 위하여 원홍식 정선부군수를 단장으로 하는 재해예방사업 조기추진단을 구성․운영하는 등 신속한 행정절차 및 사업추진을 통해 2023년 3월 말까지 90%이상 발주를 목표로 사업추진에 만전을 기하고 있다.
