[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 6월 8일 북부지방산림청은 다가올 집중호우 및 태풍에 대비하여 산사태 발생 시 신속·정확한 피해조사 방법 및 복구요령에 대한 직무역량 향상 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 산림조합중앙회 산림종합기술본부의 전문 강사를 초빙해 산사태 발생 시 피해지에 대한 조사 방법과 복구 요령 등의 교육을 실시했으며, 코로나19 감염 예방을 위한 철저한 방역수칙 준수 하에 진행했다고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 지난해 54일간 지속된 호우와 태풍으로 인해 관내 79개소의 산사태 피해가 발생하였으며, 사전 복구계획 수립 등 체계적인 예방대책과 전문가 현장조사 및 사업 조기 착수 등 적극적인 대응으로 피해를 최소화하여 추가 피해가 발생하는 것을 성공적으로 예방·대응하였다고 했다.
