[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 장마를 앞두고 춘천시정부가 산사태취약지역 추가 지정을 예고했다고 밝혔다.

지역산사태예방기관의 장은 산사태예방을 위해 전문기관을 통해 조사 및 점검용역을 순차적으로 실시하여 위험지역로 판단될 경우 심의 등의 절차를 통해 산사태취약지역으로 지정하여 지속적으로 관리한다고 했다.

특히 산사태취약지역에 대해서는 사방사업을 우선 시행해야 하며, 현지점검을 실시하고 보수·보강 등의 조치를 실시하고 있고, 예정지는 춘천시 동내면 군자리 산80 등 11개소 14필지로 산사태 및 토석류로 인해 인명 및 재산피해가 우려되는 지역이라고 했다.

산사태취약지역 지정에 대한 이의신청은 7월 15일까지 춘천시농업기술센터 산림과로 하면 된다고 전했다.

시정부 관계자는 “태풍, 집중호우 및 땅밀림 등으로 인한 산사태 예방 및 피해 최소화를 위해 산사태취약지역 지정·관리, 지속적인 점검, 사방사업 및 대응체계 구축 등을 추진하고 있다”고 말했다.

한편, 춘천 내에는 274개소가 산사태취약지역으로 지정돼 있다고 전했다.
