[남상훈 기자 = 양구군] 양구군은 귀농·귀촌인의 안정적인 정착을 위해 귀농인과 선도 농가를 대상으로 현장 실습 지원, 영농정착지원금 지원사업 및 귀농·귀촌 지원센터 운영 등 다양한 지원사업을 실시하고 있다고 밝혔다.

양구군은 빈집을 활용해 귀농생활이 체험가능한 귀농인의 집을 운영해 올해 약수산채마을에서는 12명의 귀농 희망자들이 농촌에서 미리 살아보는 체험을 했다. 또한 두무·지게·오미마을에서는 기존 주민과 38명의 정착민이 함께 마을 발전과 공동체문화 확산을 위해 은퇴자 공동체 마을을 운영하는 등 다양한 귀농·귀촌 지원과 정착지원 사업을 펼치고 있다.

이와 더불어 젊은 인력 확보를 위해 13명의 귀농 희망자에게 20억 6천만여 원의 귀농 창업 및 주택 구입비를 지원했다. 여기에 더해 도시민의 농촌 정착을 유도하기 위해 귀농·귀촌 동네 작가 운영과 귀농·귀촌 박람회 홍보 등을 실시하기도 했다. 양구군은 이와 같은 귀농·귀촌 지원사업을 통해 지난 2019년 9명, 2020년 13명, 2021년 35명, 올해는 현재까지 26명이 귀농하는 등 인구 유입에도 기여하고 있다. 

양구군은 향후 귀농 귀촌인들의 소득안정과 정착률 향상을 위해 국토정중앙면 청리에 265㎡의 규모로 친환경농업 홍보관을 건립해 오는 23년 6월부터 운영을 시작할 계획이다. 또한 오는 2024년에는 양구읍 학조리에 체류형 주택단지, 공동실습용 비닐하우스, 교육장 및 창고, 쉼터 등 귀농·귀촌인들의 공동체 기반 시설을 조성해 보다 안정적인 정착을 도울 계획이다.
