농촌주택개량사업 대상은 본인 소유 노후·불량주택 개량희망자, 농촌지역 무주택자, 도시지역 귀농·귀촌인 등이며 단독주택 신축이나 부분개량 시 연리 2.0%로 농협에서 융자금을 지원해 주는 사업이며, 신축은 세대 당 최대 2억원 이내, 증축·리모델링은 최대 1억원 이내에서 지원이 가능하고, 상환 기간은 1년 거치 19년 또는 3년 거치 17년 분할 상환의 방법 중 선택하면 되고 취득세는 최고 280만원까지 감면 받을 수 있다고 전했다.

신청은 2월 3일부터 오는 3월 7일까지 해당 읍·면 행복복지센터에서 접수 가능하며, 3월 15일까지 대상자를 확정하여 올해 말까지 사업을 완료할 예정이며, 자세한 사항은 횡성군청 허가민원과 공동주택팀으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
