귀농인의 집은 귀농·귀촌 희망자가 일정기간 동안 영농기술을 배우고 농촌체험을 한 후 귀농할 수 있도록 돕는 임시 거처이며 7월 중으로 예정된 입주 시기는 귀농·귀촌 희망자와 마을이 협의해 결정하고 귀농인의 집 입주 희망자는 오는 24일까지 본인이 직접 방산면 오미리를 방문하거나 팩스로 마을 대표자 또는 사무장에게 제출해야 한다고 했다.

방산면 오미리에 위치하고 있는 귀농인의 집은 25㎡형과 53㎡형 등 2실로 구성돼있으며 25㎡형은 에어컨, 인덕션, 밥솥, 냉장고, 침구류, 식기, TV, 커피포트 등의 설비를 갖췄고, 방 2개와 화장실 1개로 구성된 53㎡형은 25㎡형과 같은 설비를 갖추고 있다고 했다.
