[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시농업기술센터는 오는 25일 오후 2시, 원주시민을 대상으로 다양한 김장채소 재배 기술에 대한 과학영농 공개강좌를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 강좌에서는 안전하고 건강한 먹거리를 생산해 이용할 수 있도록 김장 채소들의 적기파종과 각 병증에 따라 알맞은 방제법 등의 교육을 진행한다.

수강료는 무료이며, 별도의 신청 없이 수강 가능하다.

김재수 소장은 “건강하고 안전한 먹거리 확보와 시민이 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 수준 높은 농업기술 보급에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 김장채소 파종과 정식은 흐린 날을 선택해 오후에 심는 것이 뿌리 활착이 빨라 생육에 좋으며, 무 파종 적기는 8월 중순부터 하순 경이며, 배추 파종 시기는 8월 상순부터 중순, 배추묘는 8월 하순부터 9월 상순까지다.
