[김현우 기자 = 원주] 원주시는 뇌병변장애인 신변처리용품 지원사업을 시행한다고 1일 밝혔다.

대상은 만 2세 이상 64세 이하의 심한 뇌병변장애인이고, 일상생활동작검사서의 대·소변 조절 항목이 2점 이하에 해당하면 기저귀 월 구입비용의 50%(월 5만 원 한도)를 지원받을 수 있다.

단, 시설 입소 중이거나 유사 사업을 지원받고 있는 장애인은 제외되며, 신청은 주민등록상 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터에서 하면 된다.

원주시 관계자는 “이번 사업 시행으로 뇌병변장애인 가정의 경제적 부담을 덜어 삶의 질이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.”라고 말했다.
