[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 여성농업인 노동경감 지원을 위해 농업경영에 필요한 편의장비를 지원하여 여성농업인의 농작업 부담을 덜고 쉽고 편리하게 영농활동에 참여할 수 있도록 지원한다는 계획이다.

시는 여성농업인의 농작업 역할이 갈수록 가중되고 있는 상황을 고려해 노동경감 지원사업으로 이동식 충전 분무기 구입비를 지원하며,사업비는 50만원(보조 40만원, 자부담 10만원)으로 영농시간 절감과 작업능률 향상을 도모한다는 방침이다. 

특히, 이동식 분무기는 충전식으로 바퀴가 달려있어 이동이 용이한 여성친화형 제품이다. 지원자격은 지난해 말까지 농업경영체 등록을 완료한 실제 영농종사 관내 거주 여성농업인이면 누구나 신청 가능하나 최근 2년이내 노동경감 지원사업 수혜자 및 사업포기자 등은 지원대상에서 제외된다.

신청방법은 10월 21일까지 동해시농업기술센터 농업정책팀을 방문해 신청하면 되며, 정미경 농업기술센터소장은 “이번 노동경감 지원사업이 여성농업인 작업능률을 향상시켜 지역농가 소득 증대로 이어질 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
