[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시가 관내 일정기간 체류를 통해 농촌 체험 및 정보습득의 기회를 제공하는 2022년 귀농‧귀촌 유치 지원사업 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

‘태백에서 한 달 살아보기’는 도·농간 문화격차로 인한 적응 실패 등 도시민이 이주 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 시행착오를 최소화해 정착에 도움을 주고자 시행하는 사업이며, 신청대상은 태백시 내 귀농·귀촌을 희망하는 타 시·도 거주자(주민등록기준)로 사업기간은 오는 5월부터 10월까지이고, 귀농‧귀촌 희망자에게 사전 탐방 및 체험기회를 제공한다고 했다. 

거주기간은 최소 2주 ~ 최대 1개월이며 거주 및 체험프로그램 참가비는 인(팀)당 1일 5만 원이 지원되며 식비 등 생활비는 자부담이고 체류기간(장기간순), 팀 신청인원(다수) 등으로 참가자를 선정하되 청년층(만18~45세), 귀농‧귀촌교육 5시간 수료자를 우대하여 선발할 계획이며, 신청기간은 오는 29일까지고, 신청서와 구비서류를 지참하여 태백농업기술센터로 방문접수, 우편 또는 팩스로 접수하면 된다고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 ‘이번 지원사업으로 많은 도시민들이 태백을 사전에 경험해보고 안정적인 귀농·귀촌이 이루어 질 수 있기를 기대한다’고 말했다.
